The Higher Up program doesn’t only match students with meaningful hometown summer jobs and internships, it also provides them with a readiness program prior to the start of their placements and on-going support through the summer employment period. Additionally, Higher Up works to remove barriers to success such as lack of transportation and procure experience-changing items such as professional attire, access to technology, training and other services. All of these steps rely on committed volunteers sharing their time, expertise and abilities.

From behind the scenes to the front line, Higher Up has a variety of volunteer positions to suit different interests, skill sets and availability.
